What should you ask about crab seed size?
“Small”, “medium” or a single photograph may mean different things to different people. Specific questions make a size enquiry easier to compare and confirm.

Buying juvenile crabs for grow-out calls for different information from buying finished crab products. A clear purpose helps both sides discuss the right product.

Crab seed is purchased for further growing. Market crab is selected for consumption or sale as a finished product. A photograph of a large crab, or the word “crab” on its own, does not establish that a buyer and supplier mean the same thing.
When making an enquiry, say that you need crab seed for grow-out, where your farm is located and when you expect to receive it. If the type or size is undecided, describe what you know and what you need clarified.
An illustration can introduce the product, but it does not verify the species, actual size or condition of a specific batch. Several viewing angles do not replace a specification. For a particular batch, ask for images or documents that the supplier confirms relate to that batch.
For example: “I am looking for crab seed for grow-out in …, with receipt around … and an estimated quantity of … in … units. I would like to discuss size and delivery arrangements.” Leave unknown details open rather than presenting a guess as a confirmed requirement.
The YOLO crab seed page introduces the product and provides a route to discuss requirements. Before a purchase is confirmed, both parties need to agree on specifications, quantity, price, timing and terms. Sending an enquiry starts that conversation; it is not an accepted order.
